I think it would be foolish to assume that at least one of the nine Crazy Slots abilities was not something tailored to fighting human/humanoid nen users in close range. While I agree that you can't make definitive statements on hypothetical weapons, you also shouldn't discount the unknown. Not discussing the hypothetical combat arena is also a mistake. Kite gains a huge advantage when Hisoka doesn't have any terrain or objects for bungee gum to latch onto. Flat savannah or rolling hills favour Kite as Hisoka can't amplify his speed or use makeshift weapons from a distance. Kite having access to a big fuck off AoE means that, as long as he reacts in time, he can just wait for Hisoka to commit to an attack and line it up. Kite could be like that annoying fighting character that just camps you out and denies you space. Hisoka would probably catch on, get blue balls, then go find someone more satisfying to play with.

hisoka is jesus 1. a conjurer since he can conjurer bread for the hungry in the judas story chrollo mentions and xanthax gum which can be used to make gum(obviously) and bread 🥖 2. jesus and hisoka can use post mortum nen and come back to life 🪽

He makes valid points but also highly underestimates the raw power and speed of the guards.. we go into this fight knowing they know nothing of each other’s abilities.. the guards can act faster than any of them could even think to use an ability.. not saying thats a guarantee win.. with all the outcomes im focus on a few different general outcomes.. A royal guards blitz them killing chrollo right away instantly putting fear into the troupe.. then the rest die with the guards taking some to no damage.. B chrollo isnt killed right away but at least 2 other members do die.. chrollo sets up a strategy while the rest of the troupe defend the non stop onslaught.. in the end the troupe cant hold out and fall but take out atleast 1 or badly injure two… or the same beginning situation as B but the troupe successfully hold off until a proper strategy can be made and they win but not without losing at least 40% of their members

When are we gonna talk about how crazy it would be if Gon regained Nen use if he met and identified with Gyro after seeing the true darkness of the world and being changed during the Chimera Ant Arc? Or how about how Ging implies knowing how Gon could regain Nen use and also has no known Nen Affinity even though he was added to the latest diagram?

I wanna point out that the Ants don’t have to eat humans. You mentioned a larger population wouldn’t be sustainable because of the amount of humans needed. They could eat anything else, but they prefer humans. So Meruem could decree that only high ranking ants get our delicious meat. That might lead to a class struggle though

I just want to say this, that I 've seen a lot of people stating how bad of a protagonist Gon is, how simple he is, like the honest starry eyed mc.. I'd like to say, they watched HXH with closed eyes and closed ears.. Gon is fking weird.. there is something so unsetling about him, he's not at all normal, in any single way.. I don't know what kind of character people call complex these days, but Gon is fuking complex, his reactions to dire situations makes sense and not at the same time.

I might have a different outlook compared to the average Shonen reader but I prefer darker tones for series (If said series is intended to be more serious) I dislike when series introduce stakes and remove them because Shonen manga is so heavily dictated by viewer reception due to popularity polls and selling merch. It's why I like JJK you see a corpse and it's a corpse, I dislike Naruto and MHA for that very reason MHA I feel dropped the ball during its war arc unwilling to kill characters, and prolonged characters like Dabi for the sake of people thought he was cool and he sells merch and when ya know it's a war and people die in war and naruto played it safe by killing off a character who wasn't beloved and both series had a serious drop in writing quality in favor of cool scenes. I enjoy series that make it feel more open-ended where it's hard to say who's going to win "Evil" or "Good" because it's more true to what real life is as much as I love One Piece I strongly dislike early one piece due to its lack of killing characters but enjoy the story and power system enough to stay engaged and it's willingness more recently to kill characters. It's not that a series has to be morbid and depressing but when you give a situation of massive danger and then pull the rug out from under just to avoid displeasing readers I feel it's extremely cowardly and kills a series for me. An ending of a series should leave you wanting more but also reflect on the story and its message and it feels real because it was what the author had in mind and not what the viewers or editors wanted. Naruto for instance heavily has gone to shit IMO because of this, with blue vortex bringing back Kurama after sending him off it is just for fan service, and regardless of how well it may be doing, I will never pick up blue vortex for that very reason as it undoes the stakes as a means to power up characters because power creep got so massive. It's the same reason I don't really enjoy Dragon Ball granted at least it makes sense in the world for characters to come back but with no real stakes, I find it hard to enjoy a series I wanna see characters struggle when we are told how powerful the opponent is. I like it when a series has a concrete direction and not just at the whim of how each chapter is being received it's cool if you don't wanna have stakes but if that's the case don't introduce powerful characters that winning feels cheap character arcs should be occasionally prematurely cut off, if in a dire situation where that character has a 0% chance at winning and it should propel the narrative forward and reinforce that the world isn't "good guys always win because they are good" or simply don't put that character in that situation in the first place. I want a story to feel real even with its fictional systems in play because it's easier to actually connect with Basically, I hope Togashi if he gets to finish his story tells the story how he genuinely wants it to be told even if the viewers are dissatisfied because it was what he wanted and felt makes sense for the story he's trying to tell. The intention of an author or mangk should be to tell the story they want but I feel shonen manga is plagued with bad endings because it's always based on viewer reception and or gets axed and has to conclude within a couple chapters

I feel like hisoka is actually chrollo just because of his outfit choice. Hisoka's style though ranging has never been any less than flamboyant and for him to suddenly develop a style for more simple outfits is simply odd.
